1st DAY
Greetings, I am excited to share with you the details of my recent trip to Romania. The tour was carefully planned and it covers some of the most important and picturesque places in the country.
On the first day, we welcome you to Otopeni International Airport. You are greeted by our guide who take you on a panoramic tour of Bucharest, the capital of Romania. We will stop at Revolution and Constitution Square and then will visit the Palace of the Parliament. This is the second-largest administrative building in the world after the Pentagon.Built by the former communist president of Romania, Nicolae Ceausescu, the building is an impressive feat of engineering and architecture. After the visit to the Palace, we go to the National Village Museum. Being an open-air museum that showcases traditional Romanian architecture from different regions of the country. Lunch on your own at a local restaurant and then dinner and check in to the hotel for the night.
2nd DAY
Today, we will visit the royal city of Sinaia, the superb Peles Castle in other words. Peles Castle is the summer residence of the Romanian monarchs.
We will head to Bran Castle, also known as Dracula’s Castle, a medieval fortress that inspired Bram Stoker’s famous novel. We will have lunch in the castle’s courtyard before heading to the charming town of Brasov. Here we will explore the city’s historical center and have dinner at a traditional restaurant.
3rd DAY

On the third day, we travel to visit to Prejmer fortified church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by the Teutonic Knights in the 13th century. Walking through the old town of Sighisoara must be a lovely experience, a medieval citadel where Vlad the Impaler Dracula was born. Using this direction, we will go to Bistrita, another pleasant town with a rich history. In the end, we will make the check-in to our hotel for the night.
4th DAY

That sounds like an exciting tour! We will visit Voronet Monastery, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The painted frescoes that depict scenes from the Bible and the Last Judgment are famous.
Then we will stop at Moldovita Monastery, another UNESCO site. The monastery features an impressive throne room and a rich collection of religious artifacts. Our last stop of the day was at Sucevita Monastery, the largest and best-preserved of all painted monasteries in Romania. Dinner and check-in to the hotel.
5th DAY-9-day Romanian tailor-made tour
During this day we will explore the Maramures region, known for its wooden churches and traditional lifestyle. We will visit Ieud Wooden Church, a UNESCO site that dates back to the 14th century. Is one of the oldest wooden churches in Romania. We travel to Barsana Monastery, the highest wooden structure in Europe. Our last visit will be to Sapanta. Sapanta is a village famous for its Merry Cemetery, where colorful tombstones depict the lives and occupations of the deceased.
6th DAY

You’re off to a great start! We’re heading to Cluj-Napoca, a vibrant university city with a rich cultural scene. We are touring the city’s landmarks. Next is the statue of Mathias Corvinus. We will visit the Turda Salt Mine, an underground complex that features a theme park and an amusement center. In the evening, we will arrive at Alba-Iulia, a fortified city with a rich history, where we will serve dinner and check in to the hotel.
7thDAY

Wow, I’m excited for our trip today! In the morning we have the tour of Corvinilor Castle, a Gothic masterpiece which is often compared to Hogwarts Castle. Afterward, we go to Sibiu Fortress, a former European Capital of Culture. We will visit the Big Square, the Small Square, the Evangelical Church, and the Liar’s Bridge. We visit also the Glass Icon Museum in Sibiel. The sublime museum is one of the largest in Europe and features a rich collection of religious artifacts.
8th DAY

On the eighth day, we will visit Cozia Monastery. Mircea the Elder was the founder of the small settlement on the shore of the Olt River. Being one of the most important Wallachian rulers. Then we will stop at Curtea de Arges Monastery, a stunning monument that resembles the Taj Mahal.

I understand that you had a plan for your trip and it can be poor when changes need to be made. However, I want to assure you that we have an alternative route that I think you’ll enjoy. During the summer months, the Transfagarasan Highway is open and we can replace Cozia Monastery with it.
This route will take us to some incredible places like the Poenari Citadel. We can also stop at the Vidraru Dam, which is the biggest dam in Romania and offers some breathtaking views. Next, we’ll visit the brown bears who are waiting for food from tourists. Then enjoy lunch at Balea Lake, which is located 2034 meters high and has some stunning scenery. In the evening, we returned to Bucharest, where we will have dinner at Caru cu Bere, one of the most famous restaurants in the city, and spend the night.

Lastly, we have some free time to explore Bucharest as well as do shopping before heading to the airport. Overall, the trip is an unforgettable experience that allows you to discover the beauty and diversity of Romania.
