BUCHAREST PRIVATE TOUR
BUCHAREST PRIVATE TOUR is an amazing tour of the city, a panoramic tour by car with few stops on the way to take pictures. Above all in Revolution Square, the place where the revolution started in 1989 or Coupe d`Etate although this may be true.
Also here we have:
– The Romanian Atheneum Concert Hall built in 1888
– The Royal Palace of Romania
– The Monument of Rebirth
– The statue of King Carol I of Romania on horse
– Cretulescu Church
BUCHAREST PRIVATE TOUR
On this tour, you will visit the Parliament Palace, Ceausescu Residence, Romanian Atheneum Hall, and the National Village Museum ( tickets not included – 30 euros/person ).
After that, the next stop will be in Constitution Square, which is in front of the Parliament Palace. This is the 2nd biggest administrative building in the world after the Pentagon. This is the heaviest because Ceausescu used 35 million cubic meters of marble and 32 million cubic meters of wood to build it.
The construction of Parliament Palace started in the 1980s and was finished in 1996. Ceausescu decided to construct it in the central part of Bucharest because it was the safest area. For this, they destroyed an entire neighborhood full of homes, churches, hospitals, and schools.
BUCHAREST PRIVATE TOUR
Imagine that Parliament Palace resists huge earthquakes until 9 degrees on the Richter scale.
Another key point visit will be to the Ceausescu Residence which was built in 1968. Everything that`s inside it`s in general original. Most parts of the objects and paintings were gifts from the most important people on earth. All things considered, here you will see pictures representing Nicolae Ceausescu, Elena Ceausescu with Saddam Hussein, Richard Nixon, Fidel Castro, etc.

The next visit will be at Atheneum Hall. The Ateneu, a grand building in Bucharest, was designed by French architect Albert Galleron and took almost a decade to build. Ion proposed to Maria during a concert at the Ateneu, and from that moment, it became a cherished place for the couple. The people of Bucharest were proud of it and the building became a symbol of their cultural heritage. The Ateneu was a popular place for concerts, exhibits, and cultural events. The Ateneu remained a treasured landmark for generations, reminding people of the importance of preserving cultural heritage and supporting the arts.
Amazing tour
National Village Museum will be our last stop. Spread across more than 100,000 square meters, the museum showcases traditional Romanian village life. It contains 123 authentic peasant settlements, 363 monuments, and over 50,000 artifacts from around Romania.
This is one of my favorite tours.
We work with guides with experience. They are ready to introduce you to the vibrant life of Bucharest to explain to you the French architectural style of the buildings, economic facts, communism, and many more.
