1st DAY
Book Transylvania trip

The departure will be early at 8 am, pick-up from your hotel and we start the adventure. Our guide will reveal Romanian history, in the first place, you`ll visit Peles Castle. This is the summer royal palace of Romania. It was built by King Carol I of Romania starting in 1873 and finished in 1914. The palace has 160 rooms ( you have the standard tour with reception areas ) and is the first electrified castle in Europe. Everything inside is original. The castle is the highlight of Romania especially during summer. Further, we depart, in the second place, to Bran Castle aka Dracula Castle, the famous spot of vampires and the home of Count Dracula. On the way, we will hear the myth of vampires. It is a medieval castle built in the 14th century, on a hill, situated on the border between Transylvania and Wallachia.

Afterward, we go to the multicultural and picturesque city of Transylvania which is Brasov for lunch. Following lunch, we walk through the city in the same fashion visiting Black Church, St Catherine Gate, Schei Gate, Council Tower, and Council Square followed by free time.

We serve dinner in a traditional Romanian restaurant ( 3 dishes, 1 drink) and after dinner, we go to the hotel.

2ND DAY
Trip to Transylvania!

In the sequel of breakfast, please pack everything whilst checking the room for your belongings. We start around 8:30 am and will go to Prejmer fortified church – a UNESCO heritage site. The Teutonic Knights built this in the early 13th century. Prejmer church is another key point of the tour. This is the only example from SE Europe whither the authorities thought of considering common people and directly to protect them.

All things considered, Transylvania is known as The Land of Potatoes, although this may be true.

Next, the guide will take you to visit the largest citadel in Europe whichever is still lived by common people – Sighisoara Citadel, a UNESCO heritage site. Here you will discover the famous place where Vlad the Impaler Dracula was born, and thus free time for lunch.

Subsequently, we travel to Biertan, another fortified church that is part of UNESCO Heritage where the guide will narrate the history of the church and the life of the people. Later we will move away to Sibiel where you have dinner in a local farmhouse. The dinner is served only with organic products and will entertain you with a demo of how we cook “sarmale”. The food is very tasty. We will enjoy the evening here at the hotel.

3RD DAY

Later than breakfast, we have part of a sightseeing tour of Sibiu City. We will visit The Big Square, the Small Square, Huet Square, the Evangelical Church, and the entire old town.  Sibiu town is protected by walls and brick towers. Next, we leave Sibiu and will travel through the Olt River Valley until we reach Cozia Monastery. A wonderful church built by the grandfather of Vlad the Impaler Dracula  – Mircea the Eldest in the 14th century.
Ulterior free time for lunch. Another amazing stop will be Curtea de Arges Monastery which is a smaller copy of the Taj Mahal Palace.

In the afternoon, we reach Bucharest, the capital of Romania. Here, the guide will make a panoramic tour of the city by car with a few photo stops in Revolution Square and Constitution Square. Therefore you have dinner in a famous restaurant from the Old Town (3 dishes, 1 drink of choice). Hotel accommodation will be our next stop.

4TH DAY

Bucharest is a vibrant city in defiance of other cities in Romania. Is a place of culture, art, and architecture. The capital of Romania is the most developed city in South-Eastern Europe. Romania has the highest number of owners in the world specifically 98%.

Later that day, we will go to visit the Parliament Palace, the 2nd biggest administrative building in the world, with 3000 rooms. On the visit is mandatory the passport because it is an official building.  Our last stop will be at the National Village Museum. Dimitrie Gusti was the founder of the museum in 1936. The National Village Museum is the largest in South-Eastern Europe in other words, the perfect place to spend your day. Within the museum, you can see different traditional houses, watermills, windmills, etc. Access the list of events, find it here:

Opinions

“Book Transylvania trip” is an astonishing tour. This tour will embrace the most amazing sights of Transylvania though we will see merely half of it. We travel through the Carpathian Mountains, with beautiful landscapes and sceneries. During the tour, we will see both Transylvania and Wallachia. The most compelling evidence of the high number of travelers is the statistics.
